The Tenir eco-resort Hotel, with direct access to the ski slopes, is located an hour's drive from the center of Almaty, at an altitude of 3,200 meters, in the mountain resort of Shymkent. Access to the hotel is only possible by the resort's scheduled cable car. The hotel is 21 km from Kok Tyube Mountain and 22 km from the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Palace of the Republic is 22 km from the Tenir Eco Resort, Shymkent Mountain, while the Monument of Independence of Kazakhstan is 23 km away. Almaty International Airport is 40 km away. A shuttle service to and from the airport can be arranged for an additional fee.
