Margobai Guest House is located in the city of Baikalsk, just a five-minute walk from the shore of Lake Baikal. It is 2.5 km from the Sobolinaya Mountain ski resort, about a kilometer from the Baikalsk railway station, and about two hours (143 km) from Irkutsk Airport. Guests can enjoy free parking in the enclosed area. The two-storey complex includes 26 rooms of four categories: beds in the hostel, "Economy", "Standard" and "Suite". Each room has comfortable beds, TV, bedside tables, wardrobe and electric heating. The Standard and Suite categories have a private bathroom; the Economy and Hostel have clean bathrooms on the floor. Towels and bed linen are included in the price. Some rooms have an area of up to 24 m2 and are equipped with a pull-out sofa, which is convenient for families with children. On the ground floor there is a cozy cafe-bar — the hall is designed for 30-40 guests, it serves a la carte breakfasts, lunches and dinners; if desired, you can hold a small banquet. After an active day, guests can relax in the Russian sauna with a mini-pool or choose a private sauna. Free Wi-Fi, laundry facilities and a sports equipment storage room are available on site. The administrators will help arrange a transfer from the train station or airport and suggest the best routes for walking around southern Baikal. The staff speaks Russian and English. Due to its proximity to the lake and the slopes of Sobolina, Margobai is suitable for family holidays, ski weekends and summer hikes along coastal trails. It is easy to combine the calm atmosphere of a small hotel with the basic comfort of year-round living in one of the most beautiful corners of Lake Baikal.
