What to consider when choosing

For walks, consider the city centre around Theatre Square or the old town with its Little Jerusalem route. For beach time, consider Zaozernoye: Maalle is 600 m from the shore, near Foton-Mayak Beach and Zaozernoye Central Beach.

Not necessarily: the distance to the shore is not the same as the distance to a sandy beach, and Yevpatoria has different types of beaches. Grinvich has large sandy beaches nearby but only welcomes guests from May to September; Kuba is about a six-minute walk from a sandy beach, but it is in Olenevka rather than Yevpatoria itself.

If you want to cook your own meals, YurTa in Zaozernoye has a shared kitchen-dining room and rooms for two, three or four guests. If on-site activities for children matter more, consider Maalle, which has a pool with a dedicated children’s area and a playground.
