Vacation resorts in Mayma
This selection of holiday stays for a trip to Mayma includes cabins by the Katun, lakeside cottages and glamping. Check each location carefully: the properties are in different villages, not just Mayma itself.
A Dome Stay in Biryuzovaya Katun
At Sfera in Biryuzovaya Katun, individually designed domes have their own kitchenettes and bathrooms for a comfortable nature getaway. The artificial lake’s sandy beach is about a 10-minute walk away, while evenings can be spent on your private terrace beside a barbecue area and swings.
A Cabin Stay in Altai
For a trip to Mayma, consider Usadba Sokol in the village of Nizhnekayancha, which welcomes guests year-round in individual pine and cedar cabins. For a stay with children or a longer visit, choose a cabin with a private bathroom—not all categories have one. In summer, you can swim in the outdoor pools, while the on-site café is a convenient breakfast option.
Cottages by Lake Teletskoye
Kuatang in the village of Artybash is a good choice for a stay by Lake Teletskoye and hikes in the surrounding area. Accommodation is spread across three cedar cottages, with lake views from some rooms. There is a Russian bathhouse and barbecue areas on site, plus free parking for guests arriving by car.
What to consider when choosing
If you want to explore Mayma, look for a stay in the village itself, where the Stone Museum is on Lenina Street. For time by the water, consider Terra Altaya on the left bank of the Katun opposite Mayma, or Kuatang in Artybash by Lake Teletskoye—these are different destinations for your trip.
Eco-Hotel Aya offers rooms with private bathrooms and cottages with kitchen areas, while Sfera has glamping domes with their own kitchenettes and bathrooms. If you choose a separate cabin at Usadba Sokol, check the category: not all have a private bathroom.
Sfera is worth considering: the artificial lake’s sandy beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and each dome has its own kitchenette. Plan your journey to and from the property in advance: the nearest railway station serving the Mayma district is in Biysk, roughly 100 km from Mayma.
