The 1830 Mansion

Mansion 1830 at Sreszhinsky is a premium boutique hotel at an affordable price in the center of Moscow, Central Administrative District, Tagansky District, which opened its doors to guests in January 2023. The name Sredzhinsky Lane was given at the beginning of the 19th century after the house located on this street in the 16th and 18th centuries, as the police station was called at that time. After the fire of 1812, the site under the current Mansion was allocated to the merchant Ermolai Zheltov for the construction of an apartment building. So, in the 20s of the 19th century, the first building of the merchant house appeared. As the prosperity of the merchant Ermolai Zheltov grew, the complex of buildings of the Zheltov family also grew. Unfortunately, history has preserved only a small part of the information about the life of the Mansion and its owners. But what we managed to find in the Archives of the city of Moscow, as well as in the process of restoring buildings, all these finds are carefully stored in a small museum of the Mansion on Sreszhinsky and presented to the attention of our guests. So, we are located in the lane of the same name complex, near one of the oldest surviving churches in Moscow (the Spassky Cathedral of the Andronikov Monastery), the painting of which belongs to the great icon painter Andrei Rublev. The Pokrovsky Convent, where St. Matrona of Moscow is revered, is located within walking distance. In addition to historical attractions, Artplay contemporary art centers, the Winery, the War Engines Museum, theaters, shops, banks, restaurants, etc. are within walking distance. For those who like hiking, it is not difficult to walk to Red Square. This fascinating walk through the ancient streets of the city takes only about 40 minutes on foot. An important point for the Guests is access to a well–developed transport infrastructure within walking distance from the apartment. 7 minutes of leisurely walking and you are at the Rimskaya, Ilyich Square metro station, one stop, transfer and you are on the ring line of the metro, bypassing traffic jams to any location in Moscow will not be a problem. For nonresidents, arrival and departure from Moscow will not result in a stressful situation. Domodedovo Airport accepts most of the flights, Aeroexpress arrives at Paveletsky railway Station, a couple of metro stops and you are there, the total travel time is no more than an hour and a half. 15 minutes by tram from Kursky railway station, 30 minutes from the square of Three railway stations - Yaroslavsky, Leningradsky and Kazansky.
