Hygge Camp Karelia

Hygge Camp glamping is located on the shores of the picturesque Lake Paikjarvi in Karelia, near Ruskeala and the town of Sortavala. The nearest city is Lahdenpohja, the approximate time is 30 minutes by car. The distance to Sortavala Airport is 48 kilometers, and the railway station is 22 kilometers away. For accommodation, guests are offered 5 cozy, modern cottages and 8 tents for summer accommodation. The houses are located on the first line of the lake. Each house has an individual bathroom, a bedroom, a living room, and a terrace. The tents are located in a mixed forest, 50 meters from the lake. Each tent has an individual bathroom, a living room, a zoned sleeping place, a kitchenette, a wardrobe, a terrace with sun loungers and a grill. Each house and tent has an individual grill on the terrace, as well as outdoor furniture (chairs and a table). The glamping area has a sauna with a wood-burning steam room and a baptismal font on the terrace. The sauna is located 50 meters from Lake Pajkjärvi, in a secluded location. It has a bathroom, a shower room and a relaxation room. There are sun loungers on the terrace of the sauna in summer. 700 meters from glamping is the landmark Markens Grøde Manor, where breakfast is served for glamping guests. There are also scenic ecotropics around the campsite. There are ice skates, skis, cheesecakes and snowshoes for entertainment in winter, and fishing rods, saps and a rowing boat in summer. You can also rent a projector to watch movies right in the cabin.
