Cottage rentals in Plyos

Plyos is a tiny town on the Volga with a population of about 1,700. The choice of where to stay here largely comes down to geography.

Within the city limits there are only two options:

Dudkino suits those who care more about quiet, a weekend with friends, and a lower price. Accommodation here costs 3–7 times less than in Plyos. But there's a catch: you'll need a car. There is no regular bus service between Dudkino and Plyos, and taxi rides work out expensive.

All six countryside places are clustered close together on the same street. They're right next to each other, so you can pick the one that fits your group: from a romantic A-frame to a spacious cottage for a party of 6–8.

• **Village house in Dudkino 25** — a cozy place in "country dacha" format from 7,000 ₽. Works for a family with a child or a couple looking for a calm break by the forest.
• **Country retreat house in Dudkino 26** — from 10,000 ₽ per night. A roomier option that comfortably fits two couples with kids or a small group of friends.

To avoid being left without a room, get ahead of it: check available dates 2–3 months before your trip. This especially matters for the May holidays, summer weekends, October, and the New Year break. Date flexibility helps in Plyos: for example, if you're up for arriving Thursday to Sunday, finding a free room is much easier than Friday to Sunday.

In winter the strategy shifts. If you're coming to ski Milaya Gora, it's more convenient to stay in Plyos itself: the lift is closer to the town center.
