Hostels in Volgograd
Volgograd has hostels in the city centre, near Mamayev Kurgan, and even airport capsules. Choose according to your itinerary, preferred room type, and luggage-storage arrangements.
Hostels in Central Volgograd
Both hostels are convenient bases for exploring the city. Friends Volgograd offers dorm beds, private rooms, and studios with a kitchen, plus a spacious lounge for groups. Putevodny is on the central avenue near the main sights and also has a shared kitchen.
Hostels Near Mamayev Kurgan
Pastel is close to the metro and offers both private and shared rooms, as well as a well-equipped self-catering kitchen. Delta has rooms for two to eight guests and a shared kitchen, with the city centre and the railway and bus stations a short journey away.
Airport Capsules for a Short Stay
REKORUM is a convenient option for a short rest between flights: the capsules are located inside Volgograd Airport’s departure terminal. Each capsule has a bed, power sockets, ventilation and Wi‑Fi; the toilet is shared, there is no shower, and guests must contact the hotel immediately after booking.
What to consider when choosing
The city centre is convenient for walking: ScotchHostel is a ten-minute walk from the Alley of Heroes and the Eternal Flame. If Mamayev Kurgan is your priority, Capsule Time is four tram stops away.
A dorm bed with a curtain works well if a private corner in a shared room is enough; Capsule Time offers one- and two-person capsules with ventilation and sound insulation. For more privacy, Gudzon has private rooms with a double bed, TV, wardrobe, and air conditioning.
Check for lockable luggage storage and a separate option for valuables. Gudzon provides lockable lockers and a safe at reception, while ScotchHostel has lockable luggage drawers and a luggage room.
