Diyevo Gorodishche

The park Hotel "Dievo-Gorodishche" is a hotel with a history. In 1910, Nikita Ponizovkin's Sons partnership built a stone potato-milling plant near Dievo-Gorodishche and the nearby village of Peski. The Ponizovkin merchants are an ancient family of the Yaroslavl province, industrialists, owners of starch and treacle factories. In Soviet times, the building was used for industrial purposes and functioned until the 1990s, but since about 1991 it has been empty and turned into ruins. The restoration of the historic building began in 2009. Potato processing plant of the Ponizovkins in the village of Dievo‑The ancient settlement in the past and the Park-Hotel "Dievo-Gorodishche" in the present! The hotel has 48 comfortable rooms of various categories located in the main building. Wellness complex with swimming pool, sauna and hammam. Summer gazebos with barbecue equipment.
