Magistrat

Magistrat is a 4-star hotel in the city of Tomsk, located in the very center of the city on Lenin Square . In the immediate vicinity of the Administration of the Tomsk region, the Arbitration Court, the Tomsk Drama Theater and the Bolshoi Concert Hall, the Epiphany Cathedral and the embankment of the Tom River. This building has its own history. Built in 1802 under the Resurrection Mountain, near the shopping square (at that time the main city square), it was used at various times for the placement of the Magistrate of the Siberian province, the city petty-bourgeois council. After the Revolution of 1917, it was occupied by the Komsomol Gubkom, then the regional prosecutor's office and local self-government bodies.
