The historic building in the center of Irkutsk is not just a word, the original log walls have been preserved after the reconstruction. The territory on which the house is located first appeared on the plans of Irkutsk in the middle of the 18th century, in 1765 or 1768. There were some houses and farmsteads here, but outbuildings appear on the 1843 plan. The collection of decorative elements and household items found during the reconstruction perfectly complements the modern interior and immerses in the atmosphere of old Irkutsk. The Yakovlev Hotel is located in the tourist and historical center of the city in a wooden building, opposite the Holy Cross Church and the 130 block, a specially created historical development zone in Irkutsk, which includes several dozen architectural and historical monuments of the city.
