The Moscow Hotel is one of the largest and oldest in Kaliningrad. The building of the Nordstern insurance Company ("North Star"), and now the Moscow Hotel, was built in 1936 in Konigsberg by two architects: Siegfried Zassnik and Bruno Leyding in the Bauhaus style, very popular in the 30s in Germany, the construction of it lasted 6 years. The complete renovation of the room stock was completed in March 2026. It offers 110 comfortable rooms of various categories from standard to Deluxe rooms, a restaurant, a beauty salon, dry cleaning, laundry, luggage storage. For guests staying at the hotel, there is a gym, a Pilates and yoga room (without an instructor), a library, a hall with board games, and a coworking space. The Kaliningrad Zoo is located opposite the hotel. The Kaliningrad Regional Drama Theatre is 300 metres away. Within walking distance of the buildings of the city administration and the government of the Kaliningrad region, business and entertainment centers, cinemas, the central square and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the park of culture and recreation. And nearby is the elite old district of Amalienau, famous for the mansions and villas of the former Konigsberg. The Moscow Hotel is an ideal place for those who love hotels with a history, but at the same time prefers an excellent location in one of the most outstanding architectural buildings in the city.
