Vacation resorts in Kazan
For a break in or around Kazan, choose a room by a forest lake, a cabin with a kitchen or a summer safari tent. Start with what matters most: staying close to the city or spending your trip by the water.
Woodland Stays in Different Styles
Utrau offers bungalows and cottages with private terraces on the banks of the Volga, while Regina in Petrovsky has conventional hotel rooms by a forest lake. At Yurt Resort, you can stay in a yurt or a modular cabin with a kitchen; Tatar-style breakfasts are included. Alcohol and pork dishes are prohibited at Yurt Resort, and a dress code applies outside the pool area.
Your Own Cabin in Nature
All three countryside retreats offer houses with kitchens, so you can cook on your own schedule. At 4 Sezona, the Volga is a 10-minute walk away, while Les i Reka Glamping offers one-bedroom houses for up to four guests or two-bedroom houses for up to six. At Eco Usadba Tishina, the secluded barn-style houses sleep four and each have a private sauna and a soaking tub by the pond.
Riverside Cabins Beyond the City
These glamping sites offer a waterside break with familiar comforts. Glamping Vid on the Volga has kitchenettes and private terraces, while Sviyaga Glamp on the Sviyaga offers domes and A-frame cabins, plus a pool in summer. Lebedino ECO on the Kama suits those happy to travel farther: it is about an hour and a half from Kazan, and each cabin has its own gazebo with a barbecue area.
Cabins for a Nature Getaway
Both retreats offer cabins with kitchen facilities for a getaway as a couple or family. Urman Camp sits in a birch grove an hour’s drive from Kazan, with heated cabins, summer safari tents and pets welcome. Utro is a good choice for fishing and woodland walks, with a canteen and shop nearby at the Berezhok holiday park.
What to consider when choosing
For a short journey, consider Glamptown: it is about half an hour by car from the centre, with a bus stop and Derbyshki railway station nearby. For a waterfront stay, look at Utrau on the Volga or Lebedino ECO on the Kama—the latter is about an hour and a half from Kazan.
Choose Regina in Petrovsky for a conventional hotel room, or Les i Reka for a private house with a kitchen: its one-bedroom houses sleep four and its two-bedroom houses sleep six. Urman Camp’s safari tents are for summer stays; heated houses are available for colder weather.
Do not assume so: Sviyaga Glamp’s pool operates in summer, while the barn-style houses for four at Eco Usadba Tishina have private saunas and soaking tubs by the pond. Before booking, check availability for your dates and any extra charges—having these facilities does not necessarily mean their use is included.
