People come here to taste real Narzan straight from the Narzan Gallery, walk the terrenkur trails in the National Park, and restore their health at the sanatoriums. On Moya Bron you'll find 69 hotels, sanatoriums, and guest houses in Kislovodsk. Prices start from 1,500 ₽ per night. Choose the format of your stay and book a room in advance.

Around Kurortny Boulevard or by the lower gates of the National Park: where to stay in Kislovodsk

Kislovodsk doesn't have the usual split between a historic center and residential outskirts. Visitors are typically drawn to two key areas: Kurortny Boulevard with the Narzan Gallery, and the lower gates of the National Park. When choosing a hotel, focus on how close it is to these — from there, it's just a 5–15 minute walk to the Cascade Staircase and the drinking pump room. If you value quiet and prefer mountain routes, the northern outskirts and the suburban village of Alikonovka — away from the morning bustle around the gallery — are a better fit.

On Kurortny Boulevard, a few steps from the Colonnade

Mornings here usually start with a trip to the Narzan Gallery. Along the city's main pedestrian axis and the side streets that run off it, older hotels with balconies sit next to new apart-hotels:

  • Grand Hotel — a four-star hotel right on the boulevard, from 7,000 ₽
  • Venetsiya — a four-star hotel 100 metres from the Narzan Gallery, from 6,500 ₽
  • Vernisazh — the only five-star apart-hotel in the center, from 5,544 ₽
  • Vertebra — an apart-hotel on Kirova Street, next to the Colonnade, from 6,360 ₽

Closer to the terrenkur trails — by the entrance to the National Park

If you've come for walks in the park, it makes more sense to stay near its upper entrance, on Lenin Avenue and the surrounding streets. From here it's about a 10-minute walk to the Cascade Staircase and the Valley of Roses, and on the way back you can stroll through the park itself.

One option is the four-star Arnika at 18 Lenin Avenue (from 10,640 ₽). Hotels and guest houses around Pobedy Avenue and Uritskogo Street come a bit cheaper — from 6,900 ₽ per night.

Sanatorium, spa hotel, or city hotel

The main question when choosing where to stay in Kislovodsk isn't the number of stars — it's the format of your visit. That's what shapes both your impressions and your budget. To avoid going wrong, decide on this before you start looking at options on the map.

A classic sanatorium usually means a stay of 10–14 days on a voucher. It includes consultations with a doctor, Narzan baths, dietary meals, and a wellness programme. This format suits you if you're coming for treatment or planning a structured break.

Take a look at our sanatoriums in the center selection. It gathers options within walking distance of Kurortny Boulevard, each with its own treatment cycle.

If you don't need a voucher but still want mineral procedures and a spa, book a hotel with its own medical wing. For example, the Elorma clinical spa hotel sits next to Kurortny Boulevard and accepts guests without a voucher. Rooms start at 8,000 ₽ per night. It's a convenient hybrid of a city hotel and a medical centre.

A city hotel or guest house is the most flexible option. You can book a room for any number of nights, decide for yourself when to visit the Narzan Gallery (entry is free for everyone), and walk freely along the terrenkur trails in the National Park — no tickets required. This format works well for short trips or weekend breaks.

Alikonovka, Honey Waterfalls, and mountain guest houses instead of the sanatorium center

If the sanatorium district feels too crowded, book lodging in Alikonovka or one of the nearby villages. This is the edge of Kislovodsk at the foot of the mountains — an ideal spot for fans of trekking, nature, and quiet. You can reach the center by car or minibus in 15–20 minutes.

  • Zamok — a four-star hotel shaped like a real castle in Alikonovka, from 8,000 ₽.
  • Medovye Vodopady — a three-star hotel right by the waterfalls, from 5,000 ₽.

For those after seclusion near a forest or a trail, there's a separate selection of guest houses both in Kislovodsk itself and around it.

Everything was great! The breakfasts were buffet‑style, with a choice for every taste. The room was clean, just without a window, but that didn’t seem like a drawback to us — the ventilation worked well. I recommend everyone to stay there!

A really great hotel. Did I imagine it or is it new? At least it looks new. The staff are friendly. They immediately suggested where to go and what to see in addition to our planned itinerary. It was quiet enough for us to sleep, and it was generally pleasant to relax here. So if you’re going to Kislovod Normally, pay attention to the Vash Otdykh hotel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Stay around Kurortny Boulevard — on the main pedestrian axis or the parallel streets: Kirova, Gorkogo, Chkalova. From there it's a 3–7 minute walk to the Narzan Gallery and about the same to the Colonnade. The area has a range of options, from guest houses (3,500–4,000 ₽ per night) to a five-star apart-hotel.

No, a voucher isn't required. The Narzan Gallery on Kurortny Boulevard is open to everyone: you can get drinking mineral water without a reservation or voucher. If you want to take baths or other medical procedures, choose a city spa hotel or a clinic that accepts single visits. Full sanatorium treatment with a supervising doctor, on the other hand, does require a voucher for 10–14 days.

Kislovodsk is a year-round resort. Occupancy gradually rises from spring through autumn, peaking in the "velvet season" from September to October.

In winter the pump room stays open. The weather is usually sunny and dry, with an average temperature of about −7 °C. Prices are lower at this time, so winter suits budget trips and sanatorium treatment — without the crowds.

Spring transforms the National Park; the first flowers appear as early as March. By April and May the air warms up to +18 °C.

There is no direct airport in Kislovodsk. The nearest one is in Mineralnye Vody, about 60 km from the city. From there you can take the "Lastochka" high-speed train to Kislovodsk. The journey takes about an hour and a half.

Kislovodsk has its own railway station — it's the end of the line. If you arrive late, it's better to choose lodging close to the station and Kurortny Boulevard: from there, it's an easy walk.

Yes, this works. From Alikonovka, for example, you can reach the Narzan Gallery in 15–20 minutes by car or minibus, and from the village of Krasny Kurgan (near the Honey Waterfalls) in about half an hour.

This option suits you if you have your own car and your priorities are trekking, mountain routes, and time in nature.
