Hotels in downtown Novorossiysk

The center of Novorossiysk is a narrow strip along Sovetov, Lenina and Revolyutsii 1905 Goda streets, stretching between two terminals: the railway station and the Sea Terminal. People come to this district for work at the port, for a quick overnight stop, and for walks along Serebryakov Embankment with the "Mikhail Kutuzov" cruiser-museum. Most landmark spots are within a 10–20 minute walk, so you won't need a car.

Three-star rooms right in the center run 3,600–7,500 ₽ per night; boutique hotels cost more. Here's what to look at first:

Novorossiysk can't claim many resort beaches of its own. The main swimming spot is Sudzhukskaya Spit in the Southern district. Its pebble bottom and views of the port with bulk carriers on the horizon are unlikely to add much romance to your stay. If you've come for the sea and a tan, the neighboring resort villages are a better call.

• Kabardinka lies 20–25 km along the M4 highway and offers a pebble beach, a resort promenade, and infrastructure for children. The village formally belongs to the Gelendzhik district, but by driving time it's closer to Novorossiysk.
• Shirokaya Balka — a quiet bay 15 km down the highway to the southwest. You'll find crystal-clear water here and none of the city bustle. A solid pick if you'd rather avoid a crowded beach.
• Myskhako — a resort outskirt of Novorossiysk on the road out toward Abrau-Dyurso. The village has vineyards and small family-run guesthouses.
