In Novosibirsk, you can choose a budget stay in the centre, by the river or near the railway station. Look for somewhere with cooking facilities if you also want to save on meals.
For walks in the centre, use Lenina Street as a starting point: Kupechesky Dvor is centrally located, 900 m from Lenina Square, while Bueno is a five-minute walk from Ploshchad Lenina metro station. For riverside walks, consider DK Hostel on Mikhailovskaya Embankment, which has dorms sleeping 4–8 people.
If you are happy to share a room, consider a dorm bed at Babylon; CapsLock offers capsules with individual ventilation and power sockets. For more privacy, RE hostel Premium has two-person rooms with private bathrooms—compare prices for your travel dates.
Compare the total accommodation cost for your dates and factor in meals and transport: Why Not has a shared kitchen for cooking and a location near the railway station that is convenient for train travel. Check for extra charges: for example, OVB in Ob, 2.3 km from Tolmachevo Airport, can help arrange transfers for an additional fee.
