For a budget trip to Novy Urengoy, consider hostels and apartments with kitchens. Look beyond the nightly rate and factor in food and transport costs.
Compare addresses with your itinerary: for a cultural outing, the Oktyabr Palace of Culture at 9 Leningradsky Prospekt can be a useful landmark. For a business trip, consider the apartments at Vostochny 1/2, 6/4 and 1/5: they offer Wi-Fi and documents for expense claims.
If you are comfortable with shared facilities, consider Comfort hostel, which has a shared bathroom and a kitchen for preparing meals. For a longer trip, the apartment at 4 Tundrovy is a practical choice, with a stove, microwave and washing machine.
Compare the total price for your dates and all guests, adding transport and food costs: a kitchen can help reduce spending on eating out. Check capacity and sleeping arrangements too: the apartments at Vostochny 1/2 and 6/4 sleep three, while Vostochny 1/5 sleeps two on a sofa.
