FG 5-Star Hotel - F. M. Gorbenko Mansion F. M. Gorbenko was the owner and the first owner of the mansion for about fifteen years and was a representative of a well-known merchant family in Rostov-on-Don. This is confirmed by the monogram with the initials "FG" on the decorative inserts above the window openings. His father, M. Y. Gorbenko, was a merchant of the first guild and the owner of a lime factory, and it was thanks to him that St. John the Baptist Church was built, located on 2 Church Street (now Sobino Street). In 1914, Ya. R. Gerasimov became the owner of the mansion. The building at 13 Sotsialisticheskaya St. (dorev. Nikolskaya, 29) was built in the late 19th century - 1890, in the neoclassical eclectic style in the historical center of Rostov -on-Don, which was part of the city compound. In 2015, the reconstruction of the monument began. The main facade faces Socialist Street. The opening was timed to coincide with to the 130th anniversary of the monument on 02.02.2020.
