Kurenbin smART Art Apartment is a modern avant-garde guesthouse designed by artist and architect Ivan Kurenbin. It occupies a historic 1916 building in the very heart of St. Petersburg, just steps away from Palace Square. Each room is decorated with original paintings by the creator himself, while the corridors have been transformed into an exhibition space. All rooms boast magnificent views of the most prestigious part of Nevsky Prospect. Our exclusive upper-floor rooms, with floor-to-ceiling windows right by the bed, create the sensation of floating above St. Petersburg’s historic heart. The smART concept is a harmonious blend of creative art spaces and ergonomic solutions for compact living. Our boutique-style rooms may have modest floor areas and low ceilings, yet they are meticulously designed for maximum comfort — perfect for leisure travelers and business visitors alike.
