You will live in the very heart of the city! History: By the middle of the 19th century, a three-story mansion stood on this site, owned by the family of the official Chelishchev. In 1876, when the site was owned by State Councilor P. A. Myasoedov, the house was completely rebuilt according to the project of civil engineer A. L. Straukh. The building became four-storied, with a semicircular bay window in the center of the facade. Magnificent stucco molding appeared above the windows — female masks, putti figures, cartouches. As a result, the classical building acquired the features of mature eclecticism. Strauch was assisted in his work by a young N. V. Sultanov, who later became a master of the "Russian style". The next reconstruction was carried out in 1917 according to the project of M. S. Lyalevich. This was the architect's last work in Petrograd. Then an attic with three arched gables appeared on the building. In 1978, during major repairs, the attic was replaced with a full-fledged fifth floor. Architects A. G. Rumyantsev and L. M. Denisenko repeated the silhouette of the previous completion. Today it is a five-storey three-entrance apartment building.
