For a budget trip to Arkhyz, look for accommodation with cooking facilities and factor in travel to the slopes. This makes food and skiing costs easier to plan.
Start with the village centre: Pik Arkhyza has walking trails, cafés, shops and equipment rental within walking distance. Skiing requires a drive: Romantik resort is about 10 minutes by car from the village.
If you prefer to cook in your own space, every room at Easy Go Arkhyz has a kitchenette; Versal has a shared kitchen, but each room has its own shower and toilet. Check seasonal arrangements: Atam’s shared kitchen opens in summer and between seasons, while a café operates in winter instead.
Compare the combined cost of accommodation and trips to the slopes, rather than the room rate alone. For example, Arkhyz Triumph is 20 km from the resort, while Shatun includes breakfast and round-trip transfers to the slope from December 31 to March 31.
