Hotels with sauna in Cheboksary

When booking a place in Cheboksary, guests usually choose between two options: settle in the very heart of the city with a view of the bay and the Mother-Patroness monument, or stay in a residential district where a room costs half as much. The price spread is noticeable: from 2,700 ₽ a night on Prospekt Mira to 7,000 ₽ near Presidential Boulevard.

Below are the four districts travellers consider most often.

Most hotels sit near Presidential Boulevard and Red Square. From there it's a 5–10 minute walk to the bay, the museum quarter and Merchant Efremov Boulevard with its 19th- and early 20th-century merchant mansions. Right by the water there are four options for any budget:

• Manor House — one of the five-star hotels close to the centre. At 17 Mikhail Sespel Street. From 7,000 ₽ per night.
• Atal — sits at 13 Presidential Boulevard. Less than 500 metres on foot to the bay. From 5,250 ₽.
• Ibis Cheboksary Center — a chain hotel from the Accor brand at 27B Presidential Boulevard. From 6,500 ₽.
• Chuvashiya — the city's only classic four-star hotel, housed in a Soviet-era building at 2 Prospekt Lenina. From 4,800 ₽.

Kalininsky District (Prospekt Mira and Kadykova Street) covers the residential neighbourhoods and industrial sites in the eastern part of Cheboksary. From there Presidential Boulevard is a 15-minute marshrutka ride away. At the same time, a room here costs a third less than in the centre: 2,700–3,300 ₽ instead of 5,000 ₽ and up.

• Grand — the most affordable classic 2-star hotel. At 84 Prospekt Mira. From 2,700 ₽ per night.
• Imperiya — a 3-star hotel at 5 Kadykova Street. Rooms from 3,300 ₽.

If you're passing through on the Moscow – Kazan – Yoshkar-Ola route or planning to catch an early train, it makes sense to sleep not in the centre but near the station, on Pristantsionnaya Street.

• Park Hotel Usadba — a 2-star hotel at 5B Pristantsionnaya Street. From 5,000 ₽ per night. The railway station is about 1.7 km away — a taxi or public transport is the easier option.

If you're planning a trip of three days or more — a business trip, a family holiday or a break where you'd rather cook at home — consider an apart-hotel instead of a classic hotel.

In Cheboksary two networks offer this format: Krylya and Versal. They provide full apartments with a kitchen, washing machine and separate entrance. Rates run 3,800–4,400 ₽ per night, comparable to a 3-star hotel room.

• Krylya at 7 Ivan Franko Street — from 4,200 ₽ per apartment. Presidential Boulevard is a 10-minute walk away.

Each network runs one more property in the residential districts: Krylya at 6 Stroiteley Street in the South-Western District, and Versal at 16 Prospekt Traktorostroiteley in Kalininsky. Apartment rates there are lower, but the trip to the centre takes longer.
