A budget trip to Dombay is easier to plan when you factor in meals and getting to the lifts, not just the room rate. This selection includes places with kitchens, breakfast included or cable cars nearby.
You can be close to both the Amanauz and the lifts: Kristall is in the village centre on the Amanauz riverbank, 400 metres from the “1600 m” station, while Sokol is 260 metres from a cable car station. If you plan to walk into the Amanauz Gorge, the route is open only as far as Chertova Melnitsa waterfall; check its status before setting out.
For self-catering, consider an apartment with a private kitchen at Nastup or Lesnaya Skazka, which has a shared kitchen and a canteen. If you would rather not cook, Kurazh includes breakfast in the room rate, while Bostan gives guests a 10% discount at its café.
