The center holds all of the village's summer life: the promenade, cafes, markets, the dolphinarium and the main entrance to the beach. The sea and the bus station are both a few minutes' walk away, so a car here is more of a burden than a help. In return you have to put up with evening noise, and rooms for July and August in this area are taken as early as spring.

These two clusters sit a couple of kilometers from the center but still by the water: the beach is a short walk away, and the evening crush of the promenade is out of earshot. Accommodation here is mostly private — guest houses and small hotels with a pool and a barbecue area in the yard. A sensible compromise if you want to swim every day and still sleep in.

A rare arrangement for Dzhubga: three hotels of different standards share one address, from a certified four-star to a simple family-run place. That suits a large group or several families with different budgets — you can book different room categories and still spend the holiday together. The sea is a ten- to fifteen-minute walk downhill through the village.

The forest district begins three or four kilometers from the center, among pines and broadleaf woodland: nights here are a couple of degrees cooler, and the window looks onto trees rather than a neighbor's balcony. People come for the quiet and a pool of their own in the yard, accepting that getting down to the sea means driving — on foot it is long and hard going because of the change in elevation. Factor in the approach as well: a dirt road leads to the farthest plots.

The village has only a handful of officially classified hotels, and the whole budget segment rests on private accommodation. For modest money you get a room with air conditioning and a private bathroom plus access to a shared kitchen, but breakfast and a proper reception desk are not part of the deal. It's a format for people who come to swim and wander around, and only use the room to sleep.

A pool in Dzhubga isn't a luxury but an insurance policy: the pebble beach is packed at peak season, and after a storm the sea stays murky for days. It helps most when your place isn't right by the water — then you can spend the day in the yard without heading down to the promenade. Options like these sit both along the highway and deeper inside the village, often paired with a sauna or a banya.

If you're traveling as a group of six to eight, or as two families, renting a whole house usually works out better than adding up separate rooms. In Dzhubga these properties stand either in the forestry district, where the house comes with its own pool, a barbecue and woodland right behind the fence, or right by the promenade. There aren't many whole houses in the village, so for high season they get booked far in advance.

With toddlers it's easier to stay closer to the center: the beach and the water park are nearby, the village is easy to cross with a stroller, and there's somewhere to go in the evening. With older children the logic flips — after a day of swimming you want quiet, and houses with a pool and a yard away from the promenade win out. Look for fenced grounds, a children's pool and the chance to use a kitchen.
