Guest House Baseder is located in Kaliningrad's historic Klein Amalienau district. This is an ideal point to explore the culture of the city, its architecture and the atmosphere of antiquity. Klein-Amalienau is one of the oldest districts of Kaliningrad, which has preserved the spirit of a European province of the early 20th century. It seemed to be frozen in time, offering visitors to the city walks among half-timbered houses, shady alleys and red brick, so characteristic of German architecture. The area was built in the early 1900s as a residential area for railroad employees and city enterprises. Its original name, Klein-Amalienhaf— is associated with the neighboring district of Amalienhaf (now Southwest). The architecture of those years combined elements of neoclassicism, neo-Baroque and half-timbered. After the war, the area was partially restored, but retained most of its layout and appearance, making it a unique cultural heritage. Near the park and zoo, Kaliningrad Regional Drama Theater, restaurants, cafes, grocery stores. The nearest public transport stops are Telman Street, Mikhail Baryshnikov House or Alekseeva Square. You can also walk from the city center through the Central Park or along the Pregoli embankment — the journey takes about 25-30 minutes. Kaliningrad-Severny Train Station is 2.5 km from the guest house, while the airport is 24 km away. The guest house has a SPA complex with a sauna and a swimming pool.
