Hotels in Kaspiysk
Choose hotels in Kaspiysk by the sea and waterpark, south of the city, near Uytash airport or in the foothills — to fit your Dagestan route.
Seafront Hotels in Kaspiysk Near the Beach and Water Park
The beach side of Kaspiysk sits in the northwest of the city, along Akulinicheva Avenue and Molodyozhnaya, Kaspiyskaya and Kavkazskaya streets. The city beach and the water park are a 5–10 minute walk from here, and the historic center is a couple of kilometers away. Full-service hotels with a front desk, restaurant and spa are few, but they stand almost on the water and take care of everything — breakfast, the pool, the airport transfer. A good choice if you came for the sea and would rather not spend your holiday cooking or commuting to the beach.
Apartments and Vacation Rentals by the Sea in Kaspiysk
Most of the accommodation near the beach comes as apart-hotels and apartments in ordinary residential buildings: your own kitchen, a washing machine, separate rooms. For a family with children this often works better than a hotel room — you can cook for yourselves, ignore restaurant hours and wait out the midday heat in peace, while the water park and the sea are still the same five to ten minutes on foot. Aim for the streets close to Molodyozhnaya and Akulinicheva; farther from the shore the city turns into regular residential blocks with no access to the beach.
Beachfront Hotels with Pools South of Kaspiysk: Manaskent, Turali, Manas
A strip of beach hotels runs south of the city — the villages of Manaskent, Turali and Manas formally belong to the Karabudakhkentsky District, but they come up in searches together with Kaspiysk. Unlike the in-town hotels, these are proper resorts: gated grounds, their own path to the sea, pools, restaurants and facilities for children — the kind of stay where you never really need to leave the property. The drive from Kaspiysk takes anywhere from ten minutes to half an hour, so a car or a transfer arranged in advance is worth having.
Hotels Near Makhachkala (Uytash) Airport
Uytash Airport effectively stands on Kaspiysk land, just south of the city: the terminal is 5–9 km away, a 15–20 minute drive. If you land at night or fly out early in the morning, it makes more sense to sleep near the terminal or at the southern entrance to town rather than in the seafront district — otherwise you will be up a couple of hours before airport check-in. There are not many options here, but they are built for people in transit: round-the-clock check-in, luggage storage, parking.
Where to Stay in Kaspiysk for Day Trips into Mountainous Dagestan
Kaspiysk is often used as a base: the roads to the Sulak Canyon, Gunib and Derbent all start nearby, and in the evening you come back to the same room. For that it is easier to stay inside the city limits, closer to the Anzhi Arena and the highway exits — or, conversely, to shift northwest toward the Sulak road if the canyon is the main point of the trip. Look for parking and the option to check in at any hour: excursion days here begin before daylight.
Spa Hotels and a Sanatorium Near Kaspiysk: Where to Go Off-Season
From October through April people come to this coast for something other than swimming: in the foothills, some twenty kilometers from Kaspiysk, a sanatorium runs treatment programs based on sulfide mineral water — a rare format for the region. In the city itself the off-season belongs to hotels with a spa, hammam and sauna: the sea is right there, but your days no longer depend on the weather. Suited to anyone traveling to look after their health or to combine treatments with trips around the republic.

The range is wide and depends on the area. The most affordable segment is apartments and guest houses in the residential parts of town and by the airport; apart-hotels near the beach stay in the middle of the range; the most expensive are the beachfront resort complexes with pools south of the city and the only 4-star chain hotel in Kaspiysk. In summer, at the peak of the swimming season, rates are noticeably higher than off-season.
