Gorizont is the village's main hotel district: the pebble shore begins right behind the residential blocks, a five-minute walk away. This is where Olginka's largest multi-building properties stand, including the only complex that runs on an all-inclusive basis. It suits travelers who come for the sea and don't want to cross the whole village to reach the beach every day. Bear in mind that in summer this is also the liveliest part of Olginka — you can hear the beach entertainment from the balconies.

A handful of properties in Olginka sit directly on the shoreline — on Primorskaya Street and in the Kiseleva Street block, where reaching the water means simply walking down. The formats vary: from a large resort complex with a spa, a pool and a restaurant to a private villa with only a few rooms. This kind of stay appeals to people who want to head to the sea with a towel rather than pack for a trip.

Morskaya Street runs from the center of the village down to the beach, so the guest houses along it work equally well for swimming and for trips to the shops and cafes. The format is intimate — small houses with a yard, greenery and a grill, without the bustle of a large hotel block. A good compromise if you want to be close to the sea but not in the thick of the beach area.

Zarechnaya Street follows the Tu River a block back from the beach axis: it is noticeably quieter here, parking is easier and there is almost none of the resort crush. The sea is a ten- to fifteen-minute walk through the village. The choice on this street is the most varied — from simple guest houses to properties with a pool and a restaurant — which is why Zarechnaya is usually recommended to those coming for a longer stay and by car.

The inland blocks — Microdistrict No. 2, Shkolny and Orekhovy Lane — sit a little over a kilometer from the shore, roughly twenty minutes on foot. In return, this is the most affordable accommodation in the village, and there is almost always room for a car in the yard. An option for those who spend the day on the beach and exploring the coast, and come back to the room only to sleep.

The beach in Olginka is pebbly, and getting into the water with little ones isn't always comfortable — so a pool on the grounds often matters more than an extra hundred meters to the sea. At these properties there is somewhere to swim and play without stepping outside the gate, usually alongside a yard, a children's area and a barbecue spot. The format works for families with preschoolers and for anyone arriving in the peak heat of July and August.

For a group of friends or a large family in Olginka it makes more sense to rent a whole apartment, cottage or villa than a single room — with a kitchen, separate bedrooms and your own terrace. Such options are scattered around the village: some in Gorizont by the beach, others in the quiet blocks and the cottage developments higher up the slope. Cooking for yourselves works out cheaper than feeding everyone at a cafe every evening, and a grill and barbecue area on the plot usually come as standard.

The resort villages of the Tuapse district stand almost back to back along the coast, and the beach strip runs between them as a single ribbon. If everything in Olginka is taken, or you need a format the village simply doesn't have — a large hotel with a spa, or sanatorium-style full board — look at Nebug to the southeast and Novomikhaylovsky and Lermontovo to the northwest. The sea there is just as pebbly, the range of categories is wider, and the trip by car or minibus takes only a few minutes.
