About hotel

We came there to feel at home! Spectacular, modern, impressive apartments in the historical center of St. Petersburg, within walking distance to the main attractions. Complete your stay in our beautiful city with a pleasant stay experience thanks to the modern comfort, bright design and thoughtful details. New furniture, newly renovated, equipped kitchen and stunning views! The building is more than 200 years old, the first stone of the house was laid in 1828. The house was built for the wealthy merchant Ilya Dmitrievich Zverkov on the then-Catherine Canal at number 69. At that time, it was a five-story massive apartment building, which became the tallest residential building and the first giant house in St. Petersburg, because until the beginning of the 19th century, houses were allowed to build no more than 4 floors. Then our house was called the "Zverkov Apartment Building." By "apartment building" is meant an apartment building built for renting apartments. The main tenants were merchants, officials, writers and artists. In 1829, it was in this house that N.V. Gogol came to the top floor. Here he wrote his immortal "Notes of a Madman": "... I unfolded my umbrella and went after the two ladies. We crossed to Gorokhovaya, turned into Meshchanskaya, from there to Stolyarnaya, finally to Kokushkin Bridge and stopped in front of a large house. "I know this house," I said to myself. "This is Zverkov's house." What a car! …». This house remains attractive for travelers to this day. Great location and beautiful views of the granite embankment of the Griboyedov Canal!
