The Graf Tolstoy Hotel is a standard hotel located on the embankment at 52 Fontanka River in the historic Tolstoy Courtyard. Arches, porches and the Tolstoy House itself are familiar to many from films directed by Igor Maslennikov. The main scenes of the beloved melodrama "Winter Cherry" and the series about Sherlock Holmes were filmed here, in which the arches and passages of the Tolstoy House played the role of London streets. The filming of the romantic movie "You Never Dreamed of It" and the action-packed detective stories "Bandit Petersburg" and "Born of Revolution" also took place here.
