The VALORANTA Hotel is located on the shores of Lake Ladoga, in the historical part of Sortavala, where the bustling port of the Northern Ladoga Region once stood. Once there was a busy pier next to this shore. From here, merchant and passenger ships sailed to different sides of Lake Ladoga, connecting Sortavala with the islands, coastal settlements and the island of Valaam— one of the spiritual centers of the region. Boats and steamships loaded with goods came and went, and travelers, merchants, and residents of the city met on the embankment. Over time, the noise of the port life was replaced by the tranquility of the northern city. The coast of Ladoga has become a place for walks, quiet evenings and beautiful sunsets over the water. Years later, this place got a new history. After the renovation, the VALORANTA hotel opened here, a relaxation space on the bright shore of Ladoga, where today guests can watch the water, walk along the embankment and feel the very atmosphere of travel that once began from here. The hotel offers modern rooms of various categories and capacities, equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
