The most resort-like part of the village runs along the pedestrian Paralia with its fountain, cafes and souvenir stalls — the sand is a five to ten minute walk from here, and you won't need a car on vacation. The water park, shops and pharmacies are all close by, so an evening stroll never turns into a trip across town. This is the choice for anyone who wants to be in the thick of resort life without depending on transport.

Vityazevo is built around resorts with private grounds, pools, kids' clubs and three meals a day — that format is exactly why families come here. Everything happens on site: the entertainment program, the dining room and the pool are steps from your building, and the wide sandy beach with its gentle entry into the water is a few minutes away on foot. On price the resort comes out well ahead of Sochi and Gelendzhik for a comparable standard of hotel.

The northwestern blocks are given over to large complexes on spacious plots: it is quieter here than in the center, and life revolves around the hotel itself — the pool, its own kitchen, a playground. The sea is a ten to fifteen minute walk away, or a couple of stops on the electric bus. This same part of the village holds its only five-star hotel, so anyone after the top tier heads here.

Zolotye Peski street and the lanes beside it lead straight out to the dunes: the water is a couple of minutes away and the sandy bottom shelves gently — the very reason parents bring small children to Vityazevo. Hotels here often have their own sun terrace or direct beach access, so the day is built around the sea rather than around the walk to it. The flip side is that in July and August this is the most densely built-up and most crowded corner of the village.

The old part of Vityazevo — Pontiyskaya, Morskoy Lane and the streets behind Chernomorskaya — is built up with guest houses, and a night here costs noticeably less than by the sea. The beach is a twenty to twenty-five minute walk, but you get the market, neighborhood cafes and ordinary village quiet with no late-night music. It suits anyone staying a while who spends the day on the shore and comes back to the room only to sleep.

Sports and health facilities are what set Vityazevo apart from its neighbors along the coast: volleyball and football teams come here for training camps, while families come for spa treatment with their children. The village runs the only dedicated volleyball center on the Black Sea, with courts, a pool and full-board catering, and its oldest medical complex offers mud therapy using the sulfide silt muds of the Kiziltash estuary, balneotherapy and inhalation treatments. These places are just as convenient out of season: the halls and treatment rooms work year-round.

Anapa airport sits a few kilometers from the village, and from the hotels on the way out the drive to the terminal takes about ten minutes — a night arrival stops being a problem. Parking is easier here and rooms cost less, which is why the outskirts appeal to drivers and to anyone planning to explore the area: Dzhemete, Anapa, the Taman Peninsula. The price for that is a longer walk to the beach, or getting behind the wheel.
