Hostels in Vladivostok
Vladivostok rises across steep hills where the noise of the Sea of Japan meets the final stop on the Trans-Siberian Railway. It's worth seeing the Golden Bridge here, cheering on sailing regattas, and stopping by the Primorsky Aquarium on Russky Island. And, of course, people come for the freshest seafood.
Moya Bron offers 141 hotels in Vladivostok for every purpose — from business trips to family holidays and layovers between flights. Choose the right option from 1,590 ₽ per night and book online.
Where to Stay in Vladivostok: From the Center to Shamora Bay
Vladivostok stretches for 30 km along the Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula and two gulfs. That's why the "everything within walking distance" rule only really works in the historic center. Anywhere else, logistics matter: how long it will take you to reach the Golden Bridge, Knevichi Airport, or the beaches. To avoid picking the wrong hotel, it's worth sizing up the city's districts and suburbs in advance — distance is the deciding factor here.
| District or direction | What's nearby | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| Center (Svetlanskaya, Semyonovskaya, Uborevicha) | The Golden Bridge, the funicular, GUM, and the train station are within walking distance | 7,390 ₽ |
| Sportivnaya Embankment | The embankment and Sports Harbor are a short walk away | 14,000 ₽ |
| Egersheld | A district on the Shkota Peninsula with views over Amur Bay | 9,300 ₽ |
| Pervaya Rechka | Partizansky Avenue is nearby, and the train station is a 10-minute ride away | 6,579 ₽ |
| Sedanka (15–17 km from the center) | A parkland suburb, a convenient base for trips to Amur Bay in summer | 7,000 ₽ |
| Lazurnaya Bay (Shamora, 25–30 km) | Right by the beach; swimming season runs late June through September, with warm water in July and August | 10,000 ₽ |
| Artyom and Knevichi Airport (40–50 km) | The VVO terminal is a 10–20 minute drive away | 1,800 ₽ |
Hotels in the Center: Svetlanskaya, Semyonovskaya, and Views of the Golden Horn
The central part of Vladivostok sits in the triangle formed by Svetlanskaya, Semyonovskaya, and Uborevicha streets, opening onto Sportivnaya Embankment and Sports Harbor. From there you can walk to the funicular up to Eagle's Nest Hill, GUM, and the viewing platforms above the Golden Bridge. The train station is right next to the passenger terminal of the sea port. If you're arriving on the Trans-Siberian, it's a 10–15 minute walk to these hotels along Okeansky Avenue.
Reliable 3–4-star options by the Golden Horn

A bed in the center on a tight budget
At Svetlanskaya, 33 there are two hostels in adjoining buildings: Hot Place — from 1,590 ₽ per bed. It's the cheapest option in the center. Next door is the White Place hostel — from 2,290 ₽. Both hostels sit 400 meters from the funicular and one block from the cafés of Millionka.
You'll find the full list of similar options in the In the Center Cheap collection.
Sea and Hills Outside the City: Sedanka and Shamora Bay
The swimming season in Primorye is short — just two months, July and August. Demand for seaside hotels rises during that window, and prices climb above city rates. It's best to book at least two weeks ahead.
Sedanka is a parkland suburb 15–17 km from the center. From there you can quickly reach both the city and Amur Bay.
Shamora, or Lazurnaya Bay, is a resort area 20–25 km from the center (up to 35 km by road for certain holiday bases). Expect fine golden sand, pleasure boats, and cafés serving seafood.
- Royal Park — a four-star hotel in Sedanka (Makovskogo Street, 65). Set among pine trees. Rates from 8,300 ₽.
- Rublino — a hotel in the Shamora Bay area. Lazurnaya Beach is about 500 m away — roughly a 10–15 minute walk. Rates from 10,000 ₽.
More waterfront options are gathered in the By the Sea collection.
A Night in Artyom Before a Flight from Knevichi
Vladivostok International Airport (VVO) is 45 km from the city. If you have an early flight, the trip from the center can turn into a quest: a taxi runs from 1,500 ₽, and the Aeroexpress takes about an hour.
To get a proper night's sleep before your flight, I'd suggest staying in Artyom. It saves energy, time, and money. Hotels here sit just 10–20 minutes from the terminal, and rates start at 1,800 ₽.
- Artem-Plaza — from 1,800 ₽ per room. Address: Zapadnaya Street, 18. It's the closest option to the terminal.
- InnDom — from 3,300 ₽. Address: 2nd Rabochaya Street, 6/1. The hotel has been recently renovated and offers family rooms.

Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on your travel plans. If you want to visit museums and restaurants and ride the funicular, choose the center: Svetlanskaya, Semyonovskaya, or Uborevicha streets. If views over Amur Bay matter to you, stay in Egersheld. In summer, if you're planning beach days, Sedanka or Shamora are the right call. If you have an early or overnight flight, consider Artyom — it's 10–20 minutes from the VVO terminal.
The comfortable season runs from May through October. September is usually considered the best month: the sea is still warm (around +20 °C), the typhoons are behind you, and the taiga on the hills turns golden. Keep in mind, though, that September is peak time for the Eastern Economic Forum. During the forum, hotels in the city center and on Russky Island get booked up months in advance. The most affordable rates are typically found in February, November, and December.
The price depends on the type of accommodation and the location. For example:
- a hostel in the center (such as Hot Place at Svetlanskaya, 33) — from 1,590 ₽ per bed;
- a 3-star transit hotel in Artyom — from 1,800 ₽ per room;
- 3-star hotels in the center — from 7,390 ₽;
- 3-star hotels in the residential Pervaya Rechka and Vtoraya Rechka districts — from 5,000–6,500 ₽;
- 4-star hotels — from 8,300 ₽;
- 5-star hotels — from 10,500 ₽ per night.
The distance from Sportivnaya Embankment to the VVO terminal is 45 km. The most convenient way to get there is the Aeroexpress from the train station — the ride takes 55 minutes. A taxi will take about an hour in light traffic, but during the morning rush hour the journey stretches noticeably longer.
