The city's main tourist axis runs along the Iset River embankment and ties together Plotinka, the Yeltsin Center, and the Church on the Blood. Two blocks away lies the pedestrian Vainera Street. If you'd rather cover everything on foot without getting stuck in traffic, look for a hotel within a couple of kilometers of Plotinka. The area has options for every budget — prices start at 6,500 ₽ per night at three-star hotels and climb to 12,000 ₽ and above at five-star properties.

Koltsovo ranks among Russia's ten largest airports and sits just 16 kilometers from the city center. Next to the terminal stands the Yekaterinburg-Expo exhibition complex, where the Innoprom industrial exhibition is held every summer.

If you have an early flight, an overnight layover, or you're attending the exhibition as a delegate, it's better to spend the night near the airport. That way you won't have to drag a suitcase through morning traffic into the center.
