The Saga 4* Hotel is located opposite the Kazan Cathedral on the embankment of the Griboyedov Canal, 24 in a building built in the second half of the 19th century, where furnished rooms were originally located — the prototype of a modern hotel. A new hotel with more than a century of history. In 1881, in the very heart of St. Petersburg, opposite the Kazan Cathedral, the famous industrialist Vladimir Ratkov-Rozhnov built the Alexander apartment building. In the second half of the twentieth century, the central railway ticket offices were located here, and today the hotel carefully unites all eras of its history — from Ratkov-Rozhnov to the present day.
