If you specifically want to stay in Kudepsta, check the address: the neighbourhood lies between central Sochi and Adler’s resort area. For walks to the Olympic venues and Sochi Park, consider Annette Celentano in the Adler district, which also has a pool.
Look for a separate children’s pool: Larimar in Uch-Dere has one alongside a heated outdoor pool, but it is in the Lazarevsky district, not Kudepsta. At Grace Nairi in central Sochi, the heated pool is 1.5 metres deep, so it is not shallow enough for a toddler to stand in.
Pool size matters if you want to swim: Atmosfera’s small, 1.6-metre-deep spa pool is better suited to relaxing alongside a Finnish sauna session; the hotel is in Sochi’s Central District. For swimming, consider the indoor pool at Chernomor in Sochi, near Bocharov Ruchey, and check its length before booking.
