In Sochi, you can choose a hostel by the sea, near a railway station, or in a central area convenient for exploring, with options ranging from pods to private rooms.
Hostel on Komsomolskaya is ideal for exploring: the sea is a seven-minute walk away, and the Winter Theatre is nearby. Black Door offers sleeping pods with no upper bunks and a summer veranda, while DeArt has rooms for two to eight guests, a café with an open terrace, and a shared kitchen.
Terminal is convenient for a stop near Adler railway station: the sea is 130 metres away, and rooms have private bathrooms. Airport is a budget option a few minutes’ walk from the airport, with double rooms and separate male and female dorms. Czech House suits families, guests with pets and large groups, but it is temporarily not accepting foreign nationals.
Both hostels have male and female dorms, as well as kitchens for preparing your own meals. Solnechny is convenient for the beach and Olympic Park: the beach is 700 metres away, and the park is about five minutes by bus. At Zorka, every room has a shower and toilet, while central Adler is 10–15 minutes away.
Zёbrahouse is a capsule hostel 100 metres from the beach, with a shared kitchen and a safe for your belongings. Narsi offers both dorms and private rooms and is suitable for families with children; its sauna can be rented for an extra fee.
Sochi is a long, spread-out city, so choose the area first: in the Central District, pedestrian Navaginskaya Street runs from the railway station towards the seaport. Sunny Sochi is a five-minute walk from the sea, while Zёbrahouse is 100 metres from the beach.
If you want to avoid an upper bunk, consider the pods at Black Door; Molodoy has beds in female, male, and mixed dorms. Narsi offers both dorms and private rooms and is also suitable for families with children.
Look for a kitchen, laundry facilities, workspace, and storage: Kak Doma has an equipped kitchen, a laundry room, and wardrobes, while Sunny Sochi has a coworking area. If a private bathroom matters, every room at Zorka has its own shower and toilet.
