What to consider when choosing
The Central District is a convenient choice: City Park Hotel Sochi is 150 metres from the sea, with the Seaport, Arboretum, and Winter Theatre within walking distance. Magnolia is about a 10-minute walk from the promenade and 15 minutes from the Seaport.
A room at City Park Hotel Sochi works well for families thanks to its children’s room and stroller rental. Spacious apartments are better if extra room matters more: for example, Lisbon runs a free beach shuttle from June 1 to September 15.
Look for an indoor pool and do not rely on seasonal beach shuttles. Zvezdny Wellness & SPA has a 25-metre indoor pool open year-round, while its outdoor pool is seasonal.
