Hotels in Ufa
Choose hotels by the Belaya River and Gostiny Dvor, apartments in central Ufa, hotels near Ufa Arena and along Oktyabrya Avenue, a sanatorium in Zelyonaya Roshcha, or budget stays in Chernikovka.
Hotels in Central Ufa near the Embankment and Gostiny Dvor
The historic Kirovsky district is what brings people to Ufa the first time around: Lenina, Zaki Validi and Pushkina streets, the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre, Gostiny Dvor, the Friendship Monument and the bluff above the Belaya with the statue of Salavat Yulaev. From here you can walk to most of the city's landmarks without working out transport in a city that runs fifty kilometers end to end. Just factor in the terrain: the center sits on a hill above the river, and the way up from the embankment is a steady climb — with a suitcase, take a taxi.
Short-Stay Apartments in Central Ufa
On a longer trip, or with the family in tow, a self-contained place with a kitchen and a washing machine is often more practical in Ufa than a hotel room. The center has no shortage of them — from apartments around Verkhnetorgovaya Square and Gostiny Dvor to buildings on Gafuri Street, close to the Belaya embankment. The other upside of doing it yourself: no fitting your morning around breakfast hours, and there are shops for groceries right in the courtyard.
Hotels near Ufa-Arena
The home arena of Salavat Yulaev stands on Lenina Street, in the block between Tsyurupy, Yakutova and Krasnodonskaya — that is already the Sovetsky district, at the start of Prospekt Oktyabrya. The closest places to stay are the hotels and apartments along Lenina and 50 Let Oktyabrya: a walk away, or one stop by bus. The KHL regular season runs from autumn to spring and the playoffs stretch into May, and rooms go early for home game dates — book two to four weeks ahead.
Where to Stay for a Forum at the Toratau Congress Hall
The Toratau Congress Hall and the head office of Bashneft sit in the center, near Zaki Validi and Karla Marksa streets, which is why business Ufa concentrates in the upper part of the Kirovsky district. This is where the city's most impressive hotels stand, with conference halls and meeting rooms — ten minutes on foot to the venue, with no avenue traffic to sit through. During big forums and exhibitions almost nothing stays free within that radius, so it is worth booking as soon as the dates are known.

Hotels on Prospekt Oktyabrya for a Business Trip
The northern belt of the Oktyabrsky district is business parks, shopping centers and chain hotels lined up along Prospekt Oktyabrya and Rikharda Zorge Street. The logic is simple: work addresses are close by, the airport is a straight half-hour drive, and the center is a single ride down the avenue. An option for anyone here on business who is not planning to walk the embankment every evening.
A Sanatorium and Hotels in Zelenaya Roshcha
Zelenaya Roshcha is the southeastern edge of Ufa, running down to the Belaya, quiet and green compared with the center. A sanatorium operates here inside the city limits, with therapeutic baths, mineral water and dietary meals: treatment packages start at three nights, but you can also simply stay overnight, without any of the programs. A good compromise if Yangantau or Krasnousolsky is too far to drive and you still want a restful stay with older relatives or a course of treatment.
Budget Hotels in Chernikovka and Northern Ufa
The Ordzhonikidzevsky district and Chernikovka are the most affordable end of Ufa's accommodation: the north of the city works out noticeably cheaper than the center for the same set of basic amenities. It is an easy run back out to the M-5 highway from here, which makes it a good bet for transit and short one-night stops. Lenina Street and the historic center are twenty to twenty-five minutes away by car, so there is still time left for seeing the city.
Countryside Stays across the Belaya and on the Outskirts of Ufa
Across the Belaya another Ufa begins — the Demsky left bank and the southern outskirts, where forest, eco-parks and cottage developments take the place of avenues. Formally this is still the city, but the feel is that of a full country retreat: quiet, your own plot, barbecue areas and a banya. Almost exclusively an option for those with a car: reaching the center by public transport is slow and awkward.

Frequently Asked Questions
Kirovsky — the historic center, around Lenina and Zaki Validi streets. The Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre, Gostiny Dvor, the Belaya embankment and the monument to Salavat Yulaev are all within walking distance. For a business trip or a Salavat Yulaev game the Oktyabrsky district along Prospekt Oktyabrya is more convenient, and if you are passing through on the M-5 — the Ordzhonikidzevsky district, Chernikovka.
Ufa-Arena stands in the Sovetsky district, on Lenina Street, in the block between Tsyurupy, Yakutova and Krasnodonskaya. Closest to it are the larger hotels and apartments along the start of Prospekt Oktyabrya and 50 Let Oktyabrya Street — one and a half to three kilometers from the arena, one stop by surface transport. Some hotels in the center on Lenina and Zaki Validi streets work as well.
Yes, a sanatorium operates right inside the Ufa city limits, in the Zelenaya Roshcha area in the southeast of the city. It offers therapeutic baths, mineral water, dietary meals and package programs of at least three nights. It is an alternative to traveling to Yangantau or Krasnousolsky if you have no time for the long drive or you are coming with older relatives.
It depends on the segment: simple hotels in the north of the city and hostels are the cheapest, while four- and five-star hotels in the center and the country complexes across the Belaya are the most expensive. Nightly apartments usually cost about the same as a mid-range hotel, but come out ahead on a long trip thanks to the kitchen. Around KHL game dates, forums at Toratau and major holidays prices rise noticeably — check the events calendar in advance.
