The cheapest is a bed or a room in a guest house or mini-hotel in town, next come the three-star hotels in the centre and the sanatoriums with treatment programmes, and the upper end is set by the five-star complexes at Kurpaty and Opolznevoye. In summer and during the velvet season prices are noticeably higher than in winter.

Alupka, Simeiz and Gurzuf are the calmest with children, and in central Yalta it's worth looking at rooms away from the embankment, where evenings are quieter.
