In Kazan, you can choose a compact studio for two or an apartment with separate bedrooms for a group. A kitchen and washing machine are especially useful for a week-long stay.
Choose the city centre for museum visits: the Kazan Kremlin houses the Museum of Natural History of Tatarstan and several exhibition venues. For summer days by the water, consider the Lebyazhye area: the forest park is 12 km from the centre, with a promenade, wooden walkways and picnic areas beside the lakes.
The studios on Marcel Salimzhanov Street suit two guests; for a family or group, focus on the number of separate bedrooms rather than sleeping capacity alone. For example, uTrip at 128 Pavlyukhina sleeps eight and has two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Check the kitchen equipment and whether there is a fridge and washing machine — these make it easier to cook for yourself and pack less. For example, uTrip on Mushtari Street has its own kitchen and washing machine; a refundable deposit of RUB 3,000 is required at check-in.
