The high-speed Lastochka from Kazansky station reaches Ryazan-1 in about two and a half hours; ordinary trains take three to four. By car along the M5 "Ural" highway it's roughly two hundred kilometers and three hours or more without traffic. It all depends on what you're here for. For walks around the Kremlin, Sobornaya and the embankment, take the center — Mayakovskogo and Seminarskaya streets, Pervomaysky Avenue and Kremlyovsky Val.
