There are no 5-star hotels in the town of Lazarevskoye. The premium segment of Greater Sochi sits in central Sochi, Adler and Krasnaya Polyana. That said, Lazarevskoye offers two strong options a tier below, both with direct access to the sea:

If your travel dates are flexible, try shifting them by a couple of weeks. For the same money, you may be able to afford a higher-class room or a more convenient location.
The Lazarevsky district is administratively part of the city of Sochi, but in tourist terms it's a standalone resort town within Greater Sochi. It sits about 60 km northwest of central Sochi. On Moya Bron, Lazarevskoye has its own page: if you search for "hotels in Sochi," Lazarevskoye listings usually won't appear. If you want to stay here specifically rather than drive 60 km south, filter listings by Lazarevskoye or by the neighboring towns — Loo, Golovinka, Vardane.
The swimming season in Lazarevskoye opens near the end of May and runs through the first days of October. Peak hotel occupancy and the highest prices fall in July and August. If you want to avoid the crowds on the promenade and the punishing heat (+30 °C) while still enjoying warm water and saving money, pick June or September. This is the "velvet season" on the coast — hotel rates in these months are noticeably lower.
It's about 110 km from Adler airport to Lazarevskoye. The most convenient option is the Lastochka express train. In roughly an hour and a half you'll arrive at Lazarevskaya station, which sits in the center of town. By car, the winding coastal road takes anywhere from an hour and a half to over two hours. Driving time depends heavily on traffic, so most guests prefer the Lastochka.
