Hotels in Lermontovo

In the village itself, almost all accommodation consists of guest houses and small unrated hotels. Officially classified hotels with a pool and a spa stand just beyond the edge of Lermontovo, along the Dzhubga — Sochi highway; for a full all-inclusive format, people go to Olginka, Nebug or Dzhubga.

The closest streets to the pebble beach are Kurortnaya, Naberezhnaya and Primorskaya: this is the beachfront row, a couple of minutes' walk from the water. From the center of the village, the walk to the sea takes ten to fifteen minutes going straight there.

These are neighboring resort areas a few kilometers along the A-147 highway, each with its own beach and its own exit. Plyakho's beaches are mostly sandy, while Golubaya Bukhta is valued for its clean water and calm atmosphere; both are usually quieter and cheaper than central Lermontovo. You can't walk between the villages — you'll need a car or a minibus.

The swimming season on this stretch of coast runs from June through September, peaking in July and August — which is also when prices are highest and rooms sell out fastest. In May and late September the sea is still, or already, cool, but far more places are available.

The village sits on the A-147 "Dzhubga — Sochi" federal highway, about five to seven kilometers from Dzhubga and forty-five to fifty from Tuapse. The nearest railway station is Tuapse-Passazhirskaya, and the easiest airports to fly into are Krasnodar and Gelendzhik, with a transfer or a scheduled bus for the last leg. Bear in mind that operations at Gelendzhik airport are periodically restricted.
