Adler is made up of three resort areas: first, the Imeretinskaya Lowland with the Olympic Park and Sochi Park; second, Kurortny Gorodok by the sea in the northern part; and third, the downtown area with the old Bestuzhev promenade. Your choice of district directly affects what your trip costs, what kind of holiday you get, and how long the airport transfer takes.

Imeretinsky Resort

This area is home to the Olympic Park, Fisht Stadium, Sochi Park, and the Sochi Autodrom racetrack. It usually draws families with kids and travelers who want to stay in "new Adler." The district offers expansive hotel grounds and a packed entertainment lineup.

Kurortny Gorodok sits in the northern part of Adler, right by the sea. Quiet green streets wind past Soviet-era resort buildings and old health spas. Downtown Adler is 5–10 minutes away, Imeretinka 15–20. Most of the city's sanatorium infrastructure is concentrated in this part of town.

Downtown Adler

Downtown Adler is the old resort quarter spread along Kirov Street, Demokraticheskiy Lane, and the southern stretch of Prosveshcheniya Street. From here you can walk to the Bestuzhev promenade, the aquarium, and the train station. Sochi International Airport is only a 10-minute drive away.

Adler is one of the few Russian resorts where the all-inclusive format actually works at full scale. You'll find almost no such offers in the historic center or Kurortny Gorodok. In Imeretinka and Sirius, though, a whole cluster of full-board hotels has sprung up. They sit in new buildings with large grounds, water parks, and outdoor pools.

Adler has long built a reputation as a health resort. A humid subtropical climate, mineral water sources, and a dedicated medical infrastructure together create solid conditions for recovery.

Sanatoriums are clustered mainly along Lenin Street in Kurortny Gorodok and in the northern part of the district. That's convenient: you can enjoy the sea and run through your treatments without losing half the day to travel.
