Imeretinsky Resort

All-Inclusive in Imeretinka and by the Olympic Park

Adler is one of the few Russian resorts where the all-inclusive format actually works at full scale. You'll find almost no such offers in the historic center or Kurortny Gorodok. In Imeretinka and Sirius, though, a whole cluster of full-board hotels has sprung up. They sit in new buildings with large grounds, water parks, and outdoor pools.

Sanatoriums are clustered mainly along Lenin Street in Kurortny Gorodok and in the northern part of the district. That's convenient: you can enjoy the sea and run through your treatments without losing half the day to travel.

Summer and September stays get snapped up as early as winter — so it pays to book in advance.

Imeretinsky Resort is a great pick. It has a long landscaped seafront promenade. Sochi Park with its rides, the Olympic Park, and the aquarium are all close by, and the beach in this area is gently sloping and wide. Most hotels near the Olympic Park run on all-inclusive — so meals won't be an issue during your stay.

The swimming season in Adler usually runs from late May through October. The water is at its warmest in July and August. For walks and sightseeing, September — the so-called "velvet season" — is ideal.

In winter, Adler makes a convenient base for trips to Krasnaya Polyana. Coastal temperatures stay around +5 to +10 °C, while the mountains — about an hour away on the Lastochka train — are under snow.
